It can be a terrifying experience, especially if the person is a friend. What? Like it or not, is a useful thing to do and have done so. And me? I had a few hundred of my poems analyzed, poked at, chew up, so whenever you are asked to analyze a poem, I do so with great care. But I have not done that will contribute not only to look at my answer. Well this poem and that amazed me was not good, but I studied the poem and then you could give a few pieces of my thoughts before you leave. I did after the number of phrases that caught my attention, good and evil, things that were striking or difficult, and where the focus has been lost. I hope my intuition to do, so it's a good thing.There are three things that I look at 1) the purpose of poetry, as I understand it to 2) the central importance of (the problems and conces, etc.), and 3) the images, tone, meter and so on, and at the same time trying not to diminish the effect of poetry, the poetry is trying to give. But then, I do not do the analysis, but in some special occasions poetry of others, because they have a hard enough time doing my poetry. But I thought some comments may be worthy of note.
