Mayor de San Jerónimo Parraga Peru appointment Siluk Poet Degree in English and Spanish On 23 January 2006, Dennis L. Siluk, poet and author of nine books of poetry, who is married to a Peruvian woman was appointed by Resolution of the Mayor, Jesus Vargas P? Rraga, Poet Laureate of the city, for their work (and contributions) in promoting our culture and their city and country, to include the Mantaro Valley, beyond the Andes (which is about 1 5 million inhabitants), the two books? Peruvian poetry? (traditions and customs) and? The Magic of the Andes? (the mountains around the Mantaro Valley, Huancayo, and, in particular, the legend of Catalina Wanke, St. Jerome, and the legend of Laguna de Paca, issued by the city's mayor, Jesus Vargas P? rraga (and the office of Secretary-General).
